Night Safari :
The twilight holds many surprises ... and more so at the Night
Safari, where you can look a rhinoceros in the eye or hear
the howls of a pack of striped hyenas. The Night Safari is
the world's premier night zoo that allows you to view animals
in their nocturnal setting with the use of special illumination
that simulates natural moonlight.
The entire enclosure is divided into 8 geographical zones,
for example, the Southeast Asian rainforest, African savanna,
Nepalese river valley, South American pampas and Burmese jungle.
There are over 1,200 animals of more than 110 exotic species
to watch out for.
The best way to explore the Night Safari is to start off
with the relaxing tram ride. The tram moves silently to avoid
frightening the animals and is accompanied by an interesting
and educational commentary. You may get off at tram stations
to explore the walking trails through each zone, and easily
rejoin the tram anytime. Do avoid flash photography, as this
will only startle the animals.
